Engineering Physics Roadmap v8
Live demo of the six gap-closers shipped after the reviewer audit on model verification, shale physics, slurry & screen-out, wellbore detail, boundary conditions, and theoretical background. Every card here is wired to a pure, independently-tested library.
Gap 1 — Analytical verification suite
KGD (Geertsma 1969), PKN (Nordgren 1972) and Radial K-vertex (Savitski-Detournay 2002) closed-form half-length and wellbore width, scored vs the simulator's own evaluator.
Gap 2 — Shale physics (dual-continuum + swelling)
Warren-Root storativity ω and interporosity coefficient λ, Kazemi matrix→fracture flux, and Palmer-Mansoori adsorption-induced swelling. Plug-in seam matches the IMPES kernelstepBlackOil3P source-vector contract.

Gap 2c — Langmuir adsorption (isotherm + Δφ)
V_ads(p) = V_L · p / (P_L + p). Cumulative desorption from p_init → p_now liberates free gas equivalent to an effective-porosity bump Δφ; an adsorbed-layer coverage θ contributes a near-wellbore pseudo-skin. Inputs persist to localStorage.

Gap 4a — Joint-string builder
Per-joint ID/OD/grade/eccentricity stitched top-down. Single-joint collapses to the legacy A, D, w_n the transient single-phase and drift-flux multiphase solvers consumed. Length-weighted mean ID and cross-sectional area feed `WellboreGeometry` without breaking existing kernels.

Gap 4 — Near-wellbore tortuosity Δp
Romero / Cleary perf-misalignment pressure drop layered on top of the joint-string builder. Slurry density auto-syncs with the Gap 3 cppa unless overridden.
Gap 5 — Typed BC catalog
Dirichlet stress tensor, Neumann time-varying shadows, Robin compliance and free-water-table BCs, evaluated at t = 30 min, q = 80 bpm.
Gap 6 — Theoretical background backfill
Each library above carries inline JSDoc with the derivation reference and field-unit conversion in plain text. The manual pulls them through manualContent.ts so every equation in the PDF is one click from the underlying code.
