Job advisor

Optimal mud weight, circulating ECD and surface-pressure budget for every stored job, with margins to pore, fracture and breakdown pressure.

Operating policy
Baseline uses the solver defaults: +0.30 ppg trip margin above pore and −0.50 ppg kick margin below fracture. Add extra pore margin to harden every job at once.

Fann lab fit → job advisor
No lab sweep published
Every stored job without its own viscometer sweep is solved on the lab bench's regressed n, K and τ₀ instead of dials estimated from PV/YP. Jobs that carry a measured sweep keep using it (0 job(s)).

Paste your real Fann dial readings into the lab and publish the fit — the advisor will then solve every job on the measured curve instead of PV/YP.

Friction source
All 0 stored job(s) are solved with modeled annular friction — real tubular geometry where a tally exists, shared assumptions otherwise.

The advisor, the friction model and the simulation builder all solve through the same entry point — this picks which closure they use. Fann readings left at 0 are estimated from PV/YP. Jobs matched to a well with a stored tubular tally ignore the hole/pipe pair and integrate friction over the real string.

Solver parity audit — every stored job
Each job is solved twice at the same state: the shipped Bingham annular solver and the live model-editor friction model. Deltas outside tolerance are flagged. The editor currently holds a different model, so the shipped friction model is used.

Three-law audit on stored jobs

Each stored job is solved three ways on its own geometry and mud weight — Bingham plastic (τ = YP + PV·γ̇), Herschel–Bulkley (τ = τ₀ + K·γ̇ⁿ) and Power-law (τ₀ = 0). Jobs with a stored Fann sweep use their own regressed n / K / τ₀; the rest fall back to the shared PV/YP dials. Tolerance 0.05 ppg ECD.

Real-well solver — three-law drift
Every stored well run through the full segmented solver on its own formation record, once per rheology law. Drift is reported against Bingham (tolerances: 0.05 ppg ECD, 100 psi budget, 50 ft closure depth).
