CO₂ well profile: trapping per layer

Enter each layer of your well. Every sandstone or carbonate layer gets its own full run of the CO₂ trapping calculator model, using that layer's thickness, porosity and permeability, and the pressure and temperature at its mid-depth. Shale, anhydrite and salt are treated as seals.

Depth trends and injection

Starting values are assumptions, not your data: 70 °F surface, 1.5 °F/100 ft, 0.433 psi/ft (fresh-water hydrostatic), 1 Mt per layer, 100 yr, 5,000 acres, S_wr 0.3. S_gr,max 0.382 is the Land fit to your five core plugs. k_rg* 0.4, 2° dip and brine 1,050 kg/m³ stay at the calculator's values.
