Downhole scenarios
Quick-start a downhole study: enter hydrostatic, temperature, depth and wellbore parameters and we generate the first calculation run — BHP, BHT, hydrostatic gradient, and annular volume — in one click.
This page is the fast first pass: closed-form answers from a handful of entered numbers, saved as named runs you can compare. For a full transient column — staged pumping, friction, temperature transients — use the Wellbore Pressure Sandbox.
Injecting CO₂ in these scenarios? The scenario risk dashboard scores cumulative injected mass, pressure and fault geomechanics for each plan against your limits, and writes the same summary into the scenario report.

Open the wizard, fill in hydrostatic / temperature / depth / wellbore values, and we'll generate the first calculation run for you.
Compare against a reference profile
Paste depth, formation pressure and (optionally) temperature — one row per depth. Metres, kgf/cm², bar, MPa and °C are read from the header line and converted; feet, psi and °F are assumed when the header says nothing.
Sweep the scenario over depth
Same inputs, re-run down the hole. Everything else stays exactly as entered.

Depth-segmented gradients (optional)
Split the column into segments, each with its own gradient. With a reference profile loaded, each segment's gradient is fitted to the points inside it; segments with no points keep the scenario's gradient and are named below rather than guessed.
| Segment | Top [ft] | Base [ft] | Gradient [psi/ft] |
|---|---|---|---|
| Segment 1 | 0 | 2,667 | 0.4940 |
| Segment 2 | 2,667 | 5,333 | 0.4940 |
| Segment 3 | 5,333 | 8,000 | 0.4940 |
No reference points inside Segment 1, Segment 2, Segment 3 — those keep the scenario's own gradient.
Well history
Every run you save is kept against the well name you typed, so you can compare a well with its own earlier runs instead of one snapshot.
