Each stage's mud weight and pump rate are solved against the pore and fracture gradients of the formations it actually penetrates — depth intervals from formation database, then the well's saved formation record. Where a stage straddles two formations the plan takes the highest pore and the lowest frac gradient, so the window is the tightest the bit will see. The envelope values below are only the fallback for uncovered depth.

Rheology behind the optimiser
Optimal mud weight and pump rate are solved from the flow curve, so the plan uses the measured n, K and τ₀ regressed from this well's own Fann readings whenever they exist — the well's sweep first, then the newest sweep on a job with the same well name, then the active job, then the Fann lab bench sweep. PV/YP is only a last resort, and it understates low-shear stress — the end of the curve that governs annular friction and ECD.
