Rig budget

Planned versus actual hours, diesel and cost for every rig on the schedule roster. Programme hours come from the wells each rig drills in the field plan; crew, diesel burn and hourly cost come from each rig's own record on the rig roster — edits here save straight back to it.

As-drilled solve
Footage, mud weight and pump rate from /well-tracker re-solved into rig hours, diesel and cost. Hand-typed actuals always win.

Rig budget vs clocked hours
Type each rig's daily rate, budgeted days and (optionally) a dollar envelope. Committed spend is the hours clocked on /rig-hours-ledger ÷ 24 at that rate — variance is committed minus budget.

Rig rates, days and cost
What the AFE actually charges per rig, and where each number comes from. A rate still sitting on the seeded template is flagged as a guess; a rate you typed on the roster counts as real; and once a rig has recorded cost over at least three recorded days, its own measured $/day takes over. Days come from the programme hours /field-plan already solved — nothing here is re-guessed.

Diesel from the lab curve, not an assumption
The pumps are the rig's biggest engine load, and the horsepower they draw is set by the circulating pressure the mud actually costs. Each well's fitted n, K and τ₀ from the Fann lab is solved for standpipe + annular loss, converted to pump hhp (ΔP·q/1714) and then to gal/hr. That pump term replaces the roster's assumed share, so hotel and rotary burn stay where the roster put them. Wells without a sweep keep the advisor's PV 18 cP / YP 12 mud.

No measured curve applied — the diesel line is the roster assumption.

Run one real rig against its saved roster
Pick a rig and its programme diesel is priced twice on identical hours: once on the burn saved against that rig on the roster, once on the pump horsepower its wells' fitted n, K and τ₀ really demand. Standby and rig-move burn are shown at parity because the pumps are down — the whole dollar delta is hydraulic.
Linked to well-budget stage dollars
Every dollar recorded per stage on well budget belongs to the rig drilling that well. Those dollars earn the rig's planned hours pro rata, burn diesel at its own rates, and fill any actual left blank above — anything typed by hand wins.
